Mark was watching a silent movie when the kids were getting washed up for the night. They came down, and now they are all watching and laughing. It's so much fun to hear the kids laugh. They are such innocent laughs enjoying these simple films.

I had a chance to fly over to Dallas to attend a piano workshop with Nancy Reese. What an amazing approach to playing the piano. So simple in the approach yet so wide reaching in it's application. Will be working on this for quite a while to come...

Last weekend we were at a retreat. Towards the end, I got a call from my dad saying that he was at our front door! Nothing like early warning. He had apparently flew in for a wedding and decided to "drop" by our place. Good thing that the retreat had wrapped up by the time I checked the message and called him. Anyway, it was very nice seeing him and I actually got to talk to him for quite a bit, then the next morning he went home.

Last weekend, Mark's dad came and visited. It's been a while since we saw him. The last while Nathaniel was still in a stroller. He still seem quite healthy. We went to the evening balloon glow and the launch of the gas balloon race. That was the first time that I've seen gas balloon being filled and then taking off. It was a different experience from hot air balloons.
We also went to the kids' science museum with Mark's Dad. I think everyone had fun.

Prayers of little guys can be so funny sometimes. Christopher has decided that he didn't need help praying anymore so we are into the territory of listening to the prayers of a four year old. They are sooooo funny. I wish I can remember them all but by the time I come downstairs, most of what had transpired is out of my mind. Christopher is certainly not lacking words (as feared by the pediatrician). He goes on and on and on and on during his prayer. The other night the girls and I could not stop laughing. As much as I tried, I was seriously cracking up. I think Mark was a bit annoyed with us, but it was one of those situations that it was impossible to stop. Oh well, I'm just so thankful that our family laughs together.
